Don’t worry! Cracking is a normal part of a wood carving drying out and is almost impossible to prevent completely. We recommend keeping your carving outside year-round to help it adjust naturally.
If you notice a crack, message us and we’ll let you know the paint color we used, so you can easily touch it up with a spray. For larger cracks or more detailed care, check out the Carving Care section on our website for step-by-step guidance.
